Mr TV Police is cheeky. He does not like it when his intelligence in blatantly insulted. He thinks he’s educated enough to notice the cracks and discrepancies in the storylines. Worse enough, his ego refuses to subside when every Tom, Dick and Harry talk about what they deem as ‘unlikely to happen in real life’ situation.

While Mr TV Police is excited with Lelo’s return for myriad number of reasons, however, he thinks the writing team was not creative enough to pen down the punch lines that would convince everyone why Lelo should continue staying in our communal spaces despite having caused Zamo and his family a lot of stress.

• Don’t call Malebana, I won’t press assault charges.

Skeem Saam writers probably thought the line cited above would suffice in convincing people why Lelo (Amanda Du Pont) should not be thrown in jail- well; Mr TV Police is not convinced.

Who is Lelo to give Zamo (Clement Maosa) an ultimatum? Lelo is the ‘black widow’ of Skeem Saam. She’s the most wanted woman in Turfloop. If Zamo called Captain ‘useless’ Malebana, Lelo would be in Hillbrow police station by now wearing orange overalls.

Ms Mthiyane would have walked into the lion’s den in a broad day light had she reported Zamo to the police station for assault, and she knows it. Suppose Zamo pressed the countercharges against Lelo. Who was going to lose, and probably go to jail for a very long time? One thing for sure it won’t be Zamo. There’s a watertight evidence to put Lelo in jail forever.

Let’s hope Zamo and T’bose won’t be arrested for attempting to defeat the end of justice by keeping quiet about Lelo’s whereabouts. State prosecutors could argue that Zamo, especially, is conspiring with Lelo to keep her out of prison and for that, Seakamela junior could face the wrath of law.

• O robile motho wa mosadi letsogo

Amen! Mr TV Police gives up. I always congratulate Skeem Saam for their best cliffhangers but this line was meant for passive viewers. To this day I fail to understand the importance of T’bose calling Meikie to say ‘Kwaito o robile letsogo la motho wa mosadi mma’ (Kwaito broke a woman’s arm). The call should have gone to a voice mail, at least. That would have been much better.

What was so difficult for T’bose to say ‘mma, Kwaito o robile letsogo la Lelo? Nompumelelo Mthiyane o gona mo campus.’ Wait, Mr TV Police knows the reason T’bose did not mention Lelo’s name. Frantic ‘100%’ Mantuli (Diiketseng Mnisi) would have called Malebana right away thus setting the plans to arrest Lelo in motion. This would contradict with the real reasons came back, to stay and not to bid fans a farewell as she goes to prison.

• UJ or University of Gauteng?

Mr TV Police understands the location shooting of university scenes is at Tshwane University of Technology; however he seeks clarity on the university that T’bose, Kwaito, and Lelo et al attend. Is it University of Johannesburg (UJ) or University of Gauteng?

The hype has always been about UJ and we’ve even seen the university’s brochures flying on our screens. No one could have missed those details. They were always on their faces. However, it seems as though UJ is incomprehensibly out of the picture in favour of imaginary tale of University of Gauteng. CLARITY!
