The ‘Generations 16’ debacle has turned the entertainment industry upside down. Since Mfundi Vundla fired the striking actors, the media have been wide awake wanting to know how the drama queens are coping in the ‘gutter’.

A rumor has been doing the rounds in the media that some big shots have been approached by several production houses to join their soap operas.

The latest tittle-tattle to hit the media is news that former Generations signature face, Nambitha Mpumlwana hailed the ‘Generations diva’ has approached Duma Ka Ndlovu’s Word of Mouth productions asking for a job at Muvhango.

Move! Magazine reported that desperate Nambitha approached Ka Ndlovu seeking for a favour and eventually be included in his Tshivenda production. However, Nambitha’s heart-felt plea fell on deaf ears due to her highly documented diva antics that saw her being booted from Generations in April 2013.

But Nambitha is spitting fire, not because of the alleged rejection from Duma ka Ndlovu of the SABC 2 lead soapie, but at the reports. The actress contends that the article by the journalist who has written extensively about the Muvhango related stories does not give a true reflection of reality.

In fact, Nambitha blatantly refutes the allegations that she went to Muvhango, “cap in hand” looking for a job. The former Hollywood actress took to twitter to express her inevitable anger.

It wasn’t long before Nambitha’s timeline went abuzz with ‘soldier’ fans hurling insults while questioning the credibility of the article that their favourite celebrity apparently knows nothing about.
