Botswana’s motto mouth journalist who has earned himself a reputation of publishing paparazzi content has find himself on the wrong side of the law, although he claims not to know what wrong he has committed and neither could the officials divulge the reasons he’s been held in detention.
Dan Kenosi, writing from the Old Naledi Police Station said, “I have been here since morning. They are putting me behind bars. One Ndlovu says they are investigating me but can’t tell what they are investigating.”
Kenosi noted that the DIS agents have gone on a searching spree, turning his house upside down. “My phones, memory sticks and laptops as well as note books have been confiscated. DIS agents went to search my house and collected each and every paper they could see,” he explained his predicament.
Kenosi is expected to be released tomorrow, Monday 29 September. He remains adamant that his arrest has everything to do with the work he does and is steadfast that this dilemma won’t censor him in his journalism career.
“I still maintain that Paparazzi News will publish all their dirty works,” he issued a stern warning.
